About the Role

We're hiring two summer students to assist with orchard care and general property maintenance between May and August. This is a hands-on, outdoor role with a variety of physical tasks. Ideal for students who enjoy working outside and take pride in a job well done.

Experience in horticulture, landscaping, or equipment operation is an asset, but we're willing to train the right people.

What You'll Be Doing

• Orchard tasks including tending the apple crop, thinning, trellis repair, and tree care
• Mow, weed, and maintain grassed areas, laneways, and fence lines
• Support irrigation setup, minor equipment upkeep, and general property repairs
• Help with other seasonal projects as needed
• Follow safety protocols and keep a tidy work environment

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual labour, including lifting 40–50 lbs and working on uneven terrain
• Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
• Reliable personal transportation required — the farm is not accessible by transit
• Previous experience in farm work, landscaping, horticulture, or equipment operation is an asset but not required
• English required
